Busy times in room 12

We have been very busy the past few months in room 12. In October and November we were lucky enough to have another teacher in the class. Ms Dillon taught us a lot of new things including how to play the tin whistle. We had a lot of fun with her and we learned a lot. Well done to the girls who came to school every day and got their attendance certificates. They are doing a great job. Keep up the good work girls! We were learning a lot about 3-D shapes in November and we used 3-D shapes to make some cool constructions during maths stations.  We have also been focusing on S.T.E.M. (Science, technology, engineering and maths) education over the last two months. We have using our engineering skills to build models and vehicles. This has involved a lot of planning and teamwork. In December we learned about coding and programming. This is when you give a computer or a robot instructions to tell it what to do. We practiced being
